OddsJam Rebrand

OddsJam is a real-time data platform for identifying mathematically profitable betting opportunities. Shoreditch Design had been working with OddsJam for over a year before I pitched a full rebrand to help elevate them even further.

Their existing visual identity wasn't connecting with customers – it was flat, uninviting and basically looked like a giant spreadsheet. After a brand exploration workshop with the key stakeholders, I knew the brand needed to be exciting, confident and make the user feel secure.

The Process

To appeal to their key user base of American white-collar millennials we took influence from the culture of their youth. Growing up in the ‘90s they likely collected baseball cards, hung pennants on bedroom walls and found community in local sports teams. Nothing gives a sense of security and belonging like nostalgia.

The design of the time was dominated by Nike – bold colours and strong, clean typography – OddsJam needed to reflect that while still feeling modern and progressive like the tech leaders they are.

The Result

The outcome reflects the classic “Just Do It” campaign that dominated the 1990s without being an obvious throwback. The custom word and iconmarks are based on BRZO by Nuform Type and are complimented by a brand system to match its energy and clarity.

I led the UX/UI team in rolling out the new identity across the OddsJam landing page and web app while establishing the brand with comprehensive guidelines and supporting imagery.
