OQC brand refresh
In 2023 Oxford Quantum Circuits were looking to become enterprise-ready with a goal of raising $100m in Series B funding. They approached &above to develop their brand strategy, refresh their visual identity and overhaul their website to reflect their market-leading products.
After a series of thorough strategy sessions I lead the new visual direction for the company to best communicate their newly defined brand values. As per their new strategy guide, I evolved OQC’s brand to combine their advanced technology with humanity and identity.
The process
I highlighted OQC’s technical expertise with strong monospaced type and the transformational benefits of their work with geometric sans serifs.
By sticking to an elegant, minimalist look I strengthened OQC’s identity to appeal to potential investors. It showed their maturity while still underscoring their philosophy and technological prowess.
Before beginning work on the new OQC website I created clear guidelines to ensure the project transitioned seemlessly from the brand to the website phase.
The result
The OQC wordmark was developed to show the extreme precision of OQC’s solutions. The colour palette is built primarily from gold, black and white with unique neon and forest green highlights.
Working with &above’s strategy and web teamas, we were able to showcase OQC’s pivotal strengths and solutions, creating a look to drive trust and stand out.
